There is an easy solution but no one is listening due to denial. I have been an independent contractor to the state of WIS, a fairly large agency in Madison for the last 6 months. After 15 years private industry, Im amazed this state functions. This is because it is filled with people, some elected, that have lost the idea of serving the public interest with lifetime career concepts. The fun thing to do if you are a manager/director in Wisconsin is to spend taxpayers money. One way this is done is consulting sources to those whose children go to the same school, or better yet, play soccer together. I have a copy of a 26 page report that cost over 300K to one local firm. Every legislator, state leadership simply has to put a stop to spending taxpayers dollars for services they were hired to complete themselves. Such a simple request will save many millions effective immediately. It reallt is disgusting to witness from the inside..

This story shows that Doyle clearly talked about taxes but also talked about budget cuts.
